Best American Short Plays 2018-2019 on Broadway World

I just wanted to take a moment to remind folks that this book exists - it was an absolute joy putting it together. The release was delayed due to the pandemic, but it hit both the virtual and brick and mortar shelves back in June.

When it hit Amazon, it became the #1 New Release in Drama & Play Anthologies (June-July 2021).

It was also ranked #60 of all time sellers of Drama & Play anthologies.

Broadway World featured a blurb about the book:

Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Paula Vogel once said that theater helps us learn how to be comfortable with being uncomfortable with each other. Revolving around the theme of "this is who we are," the one-act plays in this latest edition of the Best American Short Plays series (now in its ninth decade) explore the thoughtful ways in which playwrights are wrestling to make sense of our world today.

Many thanks to the playwrights, the folks at Applause, and June Clark for making this book happen. I'm hoping there will be future editions - we shall see!
